King of the Ant Hill at Gem State Gaming Convention

Idaho Robot Combat League is hosting its first ever event, "King of the Ant Hill" in partnership with Gem State Gaming Convention on Saturday July 20th, 2024.

Registration fee is $15, which supports the cost of the event. 

We will be using the SPARC rules for robot construction. http://sparc.tools/

• Ants must follow the general construction guidelines. 
• Plastic Ants must follow the conditions set out in Section 4.4 as well. 

We will have at least one 4x4' arena for matches. 

Pit tables will be provided but competitors are encouraged to bring their own as well. This event will run all day inside the larger convention. Builders will not be charged entry to the convention, but folks that would like to enter the larger event will need to purchase a pass for GSGC as well. 

While the competition is on Saturday, We will have our space for the duration of the three-day event, so feel free to visit Friday and Sunday when we will be giving demonstrations, promoting the league, and having fun in general at the convention. 

The event will be located in the south entrance, near the main tables. Check-In will begin Friday at 6pm-10pm, and Saturday at 8am. Competitors are asked to please arrive no later than 8am Saturday for safety check and builder meeting, we will be starting matches by 10am. 

Registration begins 5/10/2024 through 7/15/2024, spots are first come first serve, there will be a waitlist if necessary.
